Apply for Council position for 24-25
Make a difference for all UC ANR staff by joining Staff Assembly Council! Contribute to policies, programs and processes that enhance the staff experience at ANR.
As a member of SAC, you also will have opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the state, grow your professional skills and networks, and engage with senior leadership at UC ANR (and across the UC!).
The deadline to apply is Monday, April 29, at 5 p.m.
Brief Position Descriptions
Chair – arranges, creates agenda for, and preside over Council meetings. Works directly with senior leadership to communicate staff needs and SAC updates.
Vice Chair – assumes chair duties in the absence of the chair, serves as policy and procedure coordinator.
Treasurer – drafts the annual SAC budget, coordinates financial transactions and monitors budget.
Scribe – takes and prepares SA Council minutes, provides minutes in timely manner to all Council members.
Communications Chair - Serves as a liaison between Staff Assembly Council and all UC ANR staff to promote and advocate improved communication and interaction; writes and edits The Current e-newsletter; maintains SAC website; promotes events and programs.
Program Chair - Develops and submits to the SA Council for approval a list of possible topics for programs.
Wellness Chair - Develops and submits proposed wellness activities and programs.
Ambassador Chair - The Staff Assembly Ambassador Chair(s) shall serve as a liaison between the UC ANR Staff Assembly Council and UC ANR Ambassadors. Their mission is to promote and advocate for all staff members and be a link to the council.
